INTRODUCTION
The Special Session on Soft Computing is organized by IEEE SMCS Technical Committee on Soft Computing. Our goal is to provide forum for exchanging ideas among Soft Computing researchers and engineers at IEEE SMC annual conference. We exchange theoretical and application papers on soft computing approaches that are inspired by nature. We welcome papers relating to fuzzy theory, neural networks, evolutionary computation, reinforcement learning, agent simulation and any nature inspired approaches and their applications.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Theoretical approach and/or applications of soft computing techniques such as fuzzy theory, neural networks, evolutionary computation, reinforcement learning, agent simulations, and any other nature inspired approaches.
**PRE-SUBMISSION SURVEY**
The authors are kindly asked to fill the form available at http://goo.gl/ip86H to indicate their intent to submit to the SS on Soft Computing.
SUBMISSION
Manuscripts for the Special Session should NOT be submitted in duplication to any other regular or special sessions and should be submitted to main conference online submission system on the conference website. All submitted papers of Special Sessions have to undergo the same review process (three completed reviews per paper). The technical reviewers for each Special Session paper will be members of the IEEE SMC 2013 Program Committee and qualified peer-reviewers to be nominated by the Special Session organizers.
