The Society of China University Journals (hereinafter referred to as “CUJS”, http://www.cujs.org.cn) is an academic, national and non-profit organization voluntarily formed by the editorial departments of STEM journals sponsored by universities and relevant institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and provincial education administrations. CUJS has 1,200+ unit members and 4,000+ individual members.
The purpose of CUJS is to unite the editors of STEM journals in universities, carry out academic research and training, cooperate with international academic publishing institutions. In recent years, CUJS has undertaken a series of research and consulting projects assigned by the Ministry of Education, the China Association for Science and Technology and other central departments, and has accumulated a good reputation and influence in the publishing community.
There are 5 internal institutions, including the Business Development Department, the Academic Research Department, the Organization Development Department, the Publication Department and the General Office. There are also 16 branch organizations such as the International Cooperation Committee, the Academic Integrity and Copyright Committee, the Young Editors Committee, the Professional Committee of Technical Journals, the Professional Committee of Agricultural Journals, the Professional Committee of English-language Journals, the Professional Committee of Medical Journals, etc.
