We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the SLIC – sustainable lighting international conference, which will take place at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, 10 and 11 of October, 2025.
This event aims to bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to explore the latest advancements in sustainable lighting technologies, light pollution mitigation, and their impact on urban and natural environments. The symposium will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
Light Pollution and Dark Sky Compliant Lighting
Energy-Efficient and Smart Lighting Technologies
Lighting Design Projects
Sustainable Materials and Circular Design in Lighting
Human-Centric and Adaptive Lighting Strategies
We welcome contributions from academia, industry, and government entities that align with these themes.
Deadline for Abstract Submission: July 25
Acceptance Notification: July 30
Presentation Submission Deadline: October 9th
Accepted abstracts will be compiled into an abstract book (e-book). A prize for best presentation will be selected and will be awarded during the conference.
