The purpose of this track is to explore a multidisciplinary view of the web aiming at achieving its full potential as a live medium for sharing. As a living subject, the collaborative Web evolves fast and this track aims to bring to solutions for collaborative work in Science, Health, and Web science. Past events can be found at IEEE Xplore site (2008*, 2009**, and 2010***) and selected papers were published by International Journal of Web Portals 2011 (vol3, Issue 1 and 2#).This year, Web2Touch will be a Track at IEEE 21st WETICE conference. As usual, the track will try to encourage participants to work together and will give space for discussions of various topics as well as having presentation of submissions.
Papers about all aspects of collaborative web knowledge and extensions, applications, theory, methods and tools, are welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Case studies of social semantic web
Ontology and knowledge integration
Ontology development in social networks
Semantic web services
Experiences in semantic web support for collaborative work
Knowledge acquisition and representation
Knowledge modularization and merging
Collaborative ontology management
Collaborative ontology evolution and alignment
Trust and privacy in knowledge sharing

Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit original papers of up 6 pages, written in English, following the two-column IEEE – CS format (http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting). Submit your paper in PDF format through the EasyChair system (https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=w2t12 ). The papers will be ranked based on their relevance and technical merit, and authors will be provided with at least three reviewers. Accepted papers will be presented and included in the Conference Proceedings published by the IEEE Computer Society Press, which are indexed by EI.
