The Workshop on Big Optimization (WBO25) aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the challenges and advancements in solving large-scale, complex optimization problems. The workshop focuses on fostering collaboration across disciplines such as computer science, operations research, artificial intelligence, and applied mathematics.

This workshop emphasizes innovative approaches in heuristics, metaheuristics, and hybrid methods, as well as their applications in big data optimization, high-dimensional problem spaces, and computationally expensive domains. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and identify future research directions in this rapidly evolving field.

WBO25 is an inclusive platform, welcoming contributions spanning theoretical foundations, algorithmic developments, real-world applications, and computational frameworks. The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person and online.
