The Internet Culture Area of the Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association (PCA/ACA) invites proposals for individual papers, panels, roundtables, and alternative format presentations exploring Internet Culture as it relates to popular culture including, but not limited to:
* Web Culture
* Internet Celebrity and Fame
* Social Media and/or Marketing
* The Internet and Social Change
* Music/Film/Television and the Internet
* Memes, Trends, and Viral Culture
* Digital Distribution, Technology, and Ownership
* Specific Sites (Facebook, Reddit, 4Chan, etc.)
* Local, Global, and Glocal Internet Culture
* Web Development and Design
* History, Present State, and Future of the Internet
Submit a 250-word proposal to http://ncp.pcaaca.org. The deadline for submission is November 1st, 2015. The 2015 PCA/ACA Annual Conference takes place April 1-5, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
