The Association of Students of English and the Institute of English Studies of the University of Rzeszów are pleased to announce the 8th students’ conference on English Studies titled: “Galicia Studies in Linguistics, Literature and Culture: The Students’ Voices 8,” which is to take place at the University of Rzeszów, Poland, on May 31, 2019. Submissions covering the following wide range of disciplines are welcome:
• Linguistics,
• Literature,
• Culture,
• Didactics,
• Translation Studies.
Our special guest speaker will be Bhumi Dalia, M.A., a Fulbright Teaching Assistant and a graduate of Northwest University, Washington, USA.
Students interested in participating in the conference are invited to send paper proposals up to 250 words for a 20-minute presentation by April 25, 2019. Please fill in the proposal form provided on the conference webpage: galiciastudentsvoices.wordpress.com. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to abstract submitting authors by April 30, 2019. Please note that selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings: Galicia Studies in Linguistics, Literature and Culture: The Students’ Voices 8.
Conference fee is 50 PLN or €20 (€10 conference fee plus €10 for bank transfers). It covers participation certificate, conference materials and coffee breaks.
