Call for papers

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the ISHIMR 2015 Committee, we invite you to participate in the 17th International Symposium for Health Information Management Research (ISHIMR), which will take place at York St. John University on 25-26 June 2015, in the beautiful city of York, England, UK.

The theme of this meeting will focus on “Health Informatics for Enhancing Health and Well-Being”.

ISHIMR 2015 will bring together researchers in the general area of e-health, health information management and health informatics and will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of their research activities. We therefore welcome paper (oral presentation) / abstract (poster) submissions and delegates from the health and research community, particularly those with teaching/ research responsibilities in health information management and health informatics, those with clinical responsibilities, and those involved in provision of health information and knowledge services.

ISHIMR 2015 will feature oral and poster presentations, a doctoral symposium, a demonstration of health informatics software applications and invited speakers from industry, government organisations and academia. ISHIMR 2015 will include a multi-disciplinary audience.

You and your colleagues are invited to submit their research contributions or practical experience reports. All papers will be blind peer-reviewed by at least two members of the Programme Committee.

The deadline for submission of papers and poster abstracts is: 15th January 2015.

All papers presented and abstracts for posters, will be published in the Conference Proceedings. As with previous ISHIMR conferences, the best papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Health Informatics Journal and in the International Journal of Health Information Management Research (IJHIMR).
