17th IEEE SPA’2013 Conference Signal Processing Algorithms, Architectures, Arrangements, and Applications

Event Dates

Sep 26, 2013 - Sep 28, 2013

Location

Poznan, Poland

Submission Deadline

May 31, 2013

The pleasant name “SPA” usually means “sanus per aquam”, but we suggest to associate our SPA 2013 with “healthy and happy for signal processing algorithms, architectures, arrangements, and applications”. Thus we would like to encourage you to participate in this professional and intellectual, although somehow unusual SPA treatment.

Among the conference aims are: presentation of the newest achievements in a wide and interdisciplinary area of signal processing and integration of researchers active in this and in related fields of science and technology, as these specialists usually represent different or even traditionally disjoint scientific disciplines.

Conference topics (but not limited to):

– DSP theory, algorithms and implementations

– Image and video processing

– Audio processing

– Digital Television and stereovision

– Multimedia data compression and editing, data bases

– Electroacoustics

– Psychoacoustics

– Sound mastering

– Human-computer interfaces

– Image synthesis, analysis and recognition

– Filter design and implementation

– Vision and audio-based diagnosis in medicine and industry

– Text-to-speech & speech-to-text algorithms

– Artificial intelligence applications in DSP

– Distributed and networked DSP systems

– Virtual and augmented reality

– Biometrics

– Biomedical Applications and Assistive Technologies

– Mobile Platform Applications

Persons interested in participation in SPA 2013 Conference and in submission of papers are kindly asked to submit papers until May 31, 2013 on the website

http://www.spaconference.org.pl

Editor requirements for the preparation of papers are available at this website. Papers accepted by the Scientific Committee will be presented during the Conference and published in the conference proceedings.

Our Conference Proceedings are currently indexed and abstracted by:

– IEEE Xplore Digital Library (proceedings available for years 2007,2008,2009,2010, and 2011)

– Conference Proceedings Citation Index on the Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge (proceedings available for years 2009, 2010 and 2011)

Best regards
