The main focus of this book will be on certain theories and the practical applications that use computational intelligence techniques in Pervasive Computing applications. This book will record recent developments in this field. Of special importance will be the usage of Machine Learning, Swarm Intelligence and Fuzzy Logic providing means for

knowledge representation, reasoning, inference and consensus decision making.

Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Ambient Intelligence

* Computational Intelligence in:

– Human centred Computing

– Pervasive Computing Applications

* Context Aware Computing

* Wearable Computers and Applications

* Sensing and Interaction with the physical world

* Optimization in Pervasive Computing

* Machine Learning in Pervasive Computing

* Security, Trust and Privacy in Pervasive Computing

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before April 10, 2012,

a 2-3 page chapter proposal. Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by April

15, 2012 on the status of their proposals.
