BalkanCom is a premier technical conference in communications and networking in the Balkan region. The goal of BalkanCom is to bring together researchers in academia, research labs
and industry from all over the world to the historical region of the Balkans. BalkanCom 2023, with the theme Towards 6G at the Crossroads of Civilizations: Connected Intelligence and
Sensing continues the best tradition of scientific conferences of being completely not for profit.

The sixth edition of the conference, technically sponsored by the IEEE ComSoc Turkey Chapter, will take place on 5-8 June 2023 in İstanbul, Türkiye.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions must be full papers, no longer than 6 pages in IEEE double-column format, including figures and references, and submitted via EDAS.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
Authors are requested to submit original, unpublished manuscripts in standard IEEE proceedings format in PDF. Paper submissions should be formatted according to the IEEE conference template.

Best papers will be invited for a special issue of the ITU-JFET Journal and a special issue of the Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks Journal.

STUDENT SESSIONS

BalkanCom 2023 will also host a dedicated Student Session in order to gather the enthusiasm and the talent of potential future researchers
as well as offer them the possibility to meet and interact with International well-known industrial and academic researchers in the context
of a friendly and professional venue.
In order to submit a paper to the Student Session, the first author and the presenter of the paper must be a student.
BalkanCom will support the students whose extended abstracts are selected to be presented at the conference.
