co-located with International Conference on Advanced Computing and Applications (ACOMP 2014)

=======================================================================================================================

AIMS AND SCOPE

The annual International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering (FDSE) is a premier forum designed for researchers and practitioners interested in state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice activities in data, information, knowledge, and security engineering to explore cutting-edge ideas, present and exchange their research results and advanced data-intensive applications, as well as to discuss emerging issues on data, information, knowledge, and security engineering. We invite the submission of both original research contributions and industry papers. At the annual FDSE, the researchers and practitioners will not only be able to share research solutions to problems of today’s data and security engineering society, but also identify new issues and directions for future related research and development work.

FDSE 2014 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from November 19-21, 2014. Ho Chi Minh City (or Sai Gon) is the biggest city of Vietnam. The conference will be held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), which is the biggest university in the South of Vietnam.

PUBLICATION

All accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag in a volume of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS). The LNCS from Springer is a well-known series of computer science books that covers research and development from all areas of computer science. Further details of the list of forthcoming proceedings with LNCS can be found at ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/LNCS_FCP.pdf

Selected papers, after further revision and extension will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Transactions on Large Scale Data and Knowledge Centered Systems (TLDKS), ISSN: 1869-1994, also from Springer Verlag.
