The Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS) is the official international journal of the Korea Information Processing Society. As information processing systems are progressing at a rapid pace, the Korea Information Processing Society is committed to providing researchers and other professionals with the academic information and resources they need to keep abreast with ongoing developments. The JIPS aims to be a premier source that enables researchers and professionals all over the world to promote, share, and discuss all major research issues and developments in the field of information processing systems and other related fields.

Special Section on Advanced Research on IoT, Cloud computing, Biotechnology, and Mobile computing (ICBM)
CFPs: http://www.jips-k.org/ss
Recent technological revolutions in computing systems stem from interconnected information and
communication technology infrastructures. IoT (Internet of Things) technologies are computerized
information generated from a variety of objects and humans. In order to compensate for the marginal
characteristics of IoT smart devices, combining IoT, cloud computing, mobile computing, and
biotechnologies has now established itself as one of the paradigms (here, ICBM is not an acronym for
intercontinental ballistic missile). In general, IoT applications always interact with multiple devices
and biosensors connected to the network by wireless/mobile or wired connections. The collected
information is stored on a cloud computing server and managed and analyzed with a variety of tools
or services on the cloud computing platform. Therefore, in this special session, we discuss several IoT
convergence technologies with Cloud computing, Biotechnology, and Mobile computing.
▶ Subject Coverage
We are soliciting original papers on recent research being carried out in the area of Internet of things
(IoT), cloud computing, biotechnology, and mobile computing. This special section will serve as a
great platform that allows researchers in the academe and industry to share their latest research
ideas and results, development activities, and emerging industry technologies on Internet of things
(IoT), cloud computing, biotechnology, and mobile computing. Topics of interest include, but are not
limited to:
– Internet of Things (IoT), Embedded system, Storage system, File system, Operating system
– Cloud computing, Cluster computing, Supercomputing, and Interconnection Network
– Biotechnology, Bio Informatics, Biosensor technology, Biology, Medicine
– Mobile computing, Network and Wireless Network, Sensor Network, Software-defined network,
Next-generation network
▶ Submission Guidelines
Papers must be submitted to the ManuscriptLink service:
https://www.manuscriptlink.com/journals/jips
It is important that you select “ Special Issue/Section Track ” and “ Internet of things, cloud
computing, biotechnology, and mobile computing (ICBM) ” when you reach the “Basic
Information” step in the submission process. Before submitting your paper, you need to read the JIPS
submission guidelines.
