ICBC 2026, the eighth edition of the IEEE Communications Society’s flagship
conference on blockchain and cryptocurrency, invites original, unpublished
research contributions. We welcome full papers, short papers, posters, demos,

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Submissions must be **original, unpublished, and in English**. Use the IEEE
two‑column conference template and observe the following page limits
(references excluded):
• Full papers ………………………………………. up to 8 pages
• Short papers ……………………………………… up to 4 pages
• Poster papers …………………………………….. up to 2 pages
• Systematization‑of‑Knowledge (SoK) papers …………… up to 16 pages
Papers will be evaluated in a double‑blind peer review; authors **must
anonymise** their manuscripts. Ethical considerations—for example, experiments
with human participants, use of personal data, or security/privacy attacks—
must be clearly discussed, and any necessary institutional approvals must be
in place prior to submission.
Submissions will be handled via **EDAS** (URL to be announced). Accepted and
presented papers will appear in the conference proceedings and be submitted to
IEEE Xplore. Extended versions of selected papers will be invited to a special
issue of a leading journal.
