14th International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology (FIT’16) will be held from December 19-21, 2016 at Islamabad Pakistan. http://fit.edu.pk/. This is now the fourteenth consecutive year that COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) is organizing this event.

Information Technology has played a vital role in the past few decades. Familiarity with technology is necessary to enable a person to live and to cope with challenges of the modern world and ICT Education bridges the gap to cope with the said challenges.

The event initially was organized as international workshop for six years and was then upgraded to an international conference. The first international workshop on Frontiers of Information Technology was organized by COMSATS Institute of Information technology, Pakistan in collaboration with professors from University of Illinois, Chicago and Purdue University and was sponsored by HEC and NSF. Since its inception, the conference provided a cohesive networking opportunity as well as a forum where state of the art research in the area of Information Technology is shared.

FIT 2016 is technically sponsored by IEEE Computer Society, IEEE IndustrialElectronics Society and IEEE Islamabad Section. All accepted papers will be published on IEEE Xplore
