Since 1990, the Department of Computing, Electronics and Mechatronics of the
Universidad de las Américas Puebla, has organized the International Conference on
Electronics, Communications and Computers and therefore it is proudly celebrating its
25th Anniversary. This International Conference is also technically supported by the IEEE,
Section Puebla. The aim of CONIELECOMP is to provide a forum for researchers to
present and exchange ideas and results of original research and developments in the
listed technical areas. The conference features keynote speakers, tutorials and a doctoral consortium.
PAPER SUBMISSION DETAILS
Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper, from 6 to 8 pages. Accepted
papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings as well as in the IEEE
CONFERENCE PUBLICATIONS (IEEE Xplore Digital Library) and will be part of the
conference program. All submissions will be handled electronically. Best papers will be
invited for publishing, in their extended versions, to an international journal (journal to confirm).

BEST PAPER AWARD
The CONIELECOMP 2015 edition of the conference will receive the “Professor
Muhammad Rashid Award” as an incentive to authors who submit their work to the
conference. The best paper, to be announced during the banquet, will be honored with a
certificate and a $300 USD “equivalent award”, sponsored from Prof. Muhammad H.
Rashid, a prominent researcher from the University of West Florida.
CHOLULA AND PUEBLA
Cholula is a magic beautiful old town, which main attraction is the Cholula pyramid.
Puebla city is just 10 kilometers from Cholula, and is an UNESCO World Heritage City,
famous for its colonial architecture and gastronomy. Puebla is only 2 hours by car/bus
from Mexico City.
