CALL FOR TUTORIALS

==================

The 2009 IEEE Conference on Commerce and Enterprise Computing (CEC09) will be held in Vienna, Austria, July 20th – 23rd 2009. The conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to explore and address recent developments and research issues on e-commerce, enterprise computing, security and developments in the area of social networks.

The CEC09 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be presented at the 2009 Conference on Commerce and Enterprise Computing (CEC09). The tutorials will be held on the first day of the conference, July 20, 2009, at the conference site.

It is the goal of the Tutorial Program to offer conference attendees and local participants an informative selection of tutorials reflecting current topics in e-commerce, with direct relevance to the conference. Proposals will be considered for half-day and full-day tutorials.

Proposals should be 2-4 pages and include the following:

2. Instructor(s) and a short biography for each

3. Goals and learning objectives

4. Description of topic and its relevance to the conference

5. Scope of the tutorial

6. Tutorial history (previous offerings of tutorial, if any)

7. Proposed format of tutorial (1/2 day or 1 day)

8. 300 Word Abstract (1-2 paragraphs suitable for inclusion in conference registration materials)

9. Keywords

10. Full description (1-2 pages to be used for review)

11. Target audience description

12. Prerequisite knowledge of audience

13. Any references that would support proposal evaluation

SUBMISSION and REVIEW PROCESS

Proposals will be reviewed by the tutorial chair and members of the organizing committee. Please submit your proposal in electronic form (plain text, PostScript, or PDF) to the tutorial chair Maja Vukovic (maja@us.ibm.com).
