IPEC2010 continues the long-standing tradition of addressing issues of immediate and long-term interest to researchers and engineers in electrical power and energy engineering. First started in 1993 as the International Power Engineering Conference, eight very successful conferences have been held so far. In line with the global trends in electrical power and energy technologies, IPEC is now known as the International Power and Energy Conference.

IPEC2010 welcomes technical papers and presentations in all areas of power engineering, power electronics, and energy systems. All submitted full papers would be fully peer-reviewed by specialist referees assigned by the technical program committee. Accepted papers shall be included in the IEEE Xplore database and indexed by EI Compendex as well as ISI Proceedings. The topics of interest are broadly categorized into, but not limited to, the following:

Submission Procedure and Condition

Authors are invited to submit full-length papers in IEEE Xplore compliant format. Detailed instructions can be found on the conference website at http://www.ipec.sg. Please note that the maximum number of pages per paper is restricted to 6. Additional page charge of S$100.00 per page will apply to papers exceeding the page limit. Papers must be uploaded as PDF files to the conference website directly. Authors whose papers are accepted must register by the early bird deadline of 15 September 2010, in order for their paper(s) to be included in the conference CD-ROM Proceedings. Each full registration is entitled to a maximum of two presentations. Each student registration is entitled to only one presentation.
