CALL FOR ABSTRACTS is OPEN AGAIN!

The International Philosophical Congress will be held 12-17 April 2021 at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.

The fiftieth anniversary of the death of the eminent Polish philosopher and humanist Roman Ingarden in 2020 is an occasion to launch an international academic debate on current trends in contemporary philosophy. The main aim of the organisers is therefore to furnish an international group of researchers with a convenient space for a free and creative exchange of thoughts, ideas, and views.

We invite researchers interested in contemporary philosophy, cognitive science and gender/queer studies.

The Thematic Panels will be organized within the following themes:

contemporary ontology

contemporary logic

contemporary epistemology

contemporary ethics

contemporary aesthetics

cognitive science

feminist philosophy

gender studies

queer studies

posthuman studies

the philosophy of Roman Ingarden

Please submit abstracts of 350 words in English by 1 December 2020. It should be prepared for a blind review, while a separate document should include a cover letter containing information such as the title of the presentation and personal details, such as academic affiliation, contact details, and a 100-word note on the author. The speakers accepted for congress will be notified no later than 20 December 2020. Each accepted presentation should be designed to fit within a 25-minute time slot.
