Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to contribute a chapter (CCA 5000 to 7000 words) for a Springer book, titled ‘Digital Twin Technologies and Smart Cities’. We welcome manuscripts focused (though not exclusively) on the following themes.

Themes:

1. Digital Twins in IoT and Industry 4.0 applications

2. Cyber-Physical Systems and Smart cities

3. IoT and Advances in Communications Technologies

4. Socio-Technical Paradigms for Smart cities

5. Digital Twins, FutureTransport, and Green Mobility for smart cities

6. Smart Cities: The Role of the Digital Twins in the Circular Economy

7. Asset management for Digital Manufacturing and Supply chain

8. Smart grid and Distributed Energy in smart cities

9. Ambient intelligent environment

10. Predictive Modelling, Optimisation and Data Visualisation

11. System of Systems and Interoperability

12. Systemic Resilience and Sustainability

13. IoT Security, Safety and Ethics

Abstract Decision and Notification Sunday 5th August 2018

Submission of Full Chapter Monday 3rd September 2018

Full Chapter Decision and Notification Monday 1st October 2018

Final Chapter Due Friday 26th October 2018

Publication Early 2019 – Exact Date TBC
