the 2nd International Scientific Conference
ELECTRONIC INFORMATION SPACE FOR SCIENCE, EDUCATION AND CULTURE
(November 26-27, 2012, Orel, Russia)
The Department of Documentary Studies and Informatics of the Orel State Institute of Arts and Cultures invites papers for the 2nd International scientific conference “ELECTRONIC INFORMATION SPACE FOR SCIENCE, EDUCATION and CULTURE” dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Institute foundation.
The conference expectes the participation of scholars, representatives of culture and education, museum and library experts. The conference will be organized as an Internet forum. Conference materials will be posted on the website of the Orel State Institute of Arts and Cultures (http://ogiik.forum24.ru) that are available for download and discussion.
Subject Coverage
1. Formation of Informational, Cultural and Educational Environment.
2. Records Management and Archiving in the regional Information Programs.
3. Information and Informatisation in Museums.
4. Digital Libraries as a Form of Information Space for Science, Education and Culture.
Working languages: English and Russian.
The participant should provide up to November 1, 2012 to the organizing committee application form (information about the author(s)), paper in electronic form (e-mail: ogiik.orel@mail.ru). Electronic Conference Proceedings (CD-ROM) will be published and distributed to the participants during the conference. The book of papers will be issued after conference and sent to the authors by mail.
Publication
The electronic papers are submitted as word documents. Publication requirements: Microsoft Word, up to 15 pages, A4, margins: 2 cm. Font Times New Roman 14 pt, single spaced, automatic footnotes. Tables, graphs, diagrams, photo, presentations and demonstrations (Microsoft Power Point), audio and video files in conventional formats should not exceed 50 MB. Information about the author(s): first and last name, organization, contact address (city, ZIP code, country, phone, E-Mail, etc.).
