Scope

=====

Euro-Par is the prime European conference covering all aspects of parallel and distributed processing, ranging from theory to practice, from small to the largest parallel and distributed systems and infrastructures, from fundamental computational problems to full-fledged applications, from architecture, compiler, language and interface design and implementation, to tools, support infrastructures, and application performance aspects. To provide a meeting point for researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas and hot topics related to parallel and distributed computing, Euro-Par 2018 will co-locate workshops with the main conference. This year Euro-Par will host 12 interesting workshops covering a wide set of topics in Parallel and Distributed Computing:

• Auto-DaSP: International Workshop on Autonomic Solutions for Parallel and Distributed Data Stream Processing

• CBDP: Workshop on Container-based Systems for Big Data, Distributed and Parallel computing

• COLOC: Workshop on Data Locality

• Euro-EduPar: Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Computing Education for Undergraduate Students

• F2C-DP: Workshop on Fog-to-Cloud Distributed Processing

• FPDAPP: International Workshop on Future Perspective of Decentralised Applications

• HeteroPar: International Workshop on Algorithms, Models and Tools for Parallel Computing on Heterogeneous Platforms

• LSDVE: Large Scale Distributed Virtual Environments

• Med-HPC: Advances in High-Performance Bioinformatics, Systems Biology

• PCDLifeS: Workshop on Parallel and Distributed Computing for Life Sciences: Algorithms, Methodologies and Tools

• Repara: International Workshop on Reengineering for Parallelism in Heterogeneous Parallel Platforms

• Resilience: Resiliency in High Performance Computing with Clouds, Grids, and Clusters
