The need for innovative engineering systems became clear in recent years for quality of life. Innovations are the gateway for new products and implementations of genius ideas.
The conference is held for the first time to attract researchers from Egypt, Japan, the Arab countries, Africa, Asia, Europe, USA and the rest of the world to present the state of art of potential research and development. The objective of ICIES2012 is to provide a forum for researchers, educators and engineers involved in the general areas of Mechatronics, robotics, automation and sensors to disseminate their latest research results and exchange views on the future research directions of these fields.
The conference venue will be Alexandria city, founded by Alexander the Great in April 331 BC. Alexandria was intended to be the link between the rich Nile valley and Greece and Europe in general. It is now the second Egyptian cities in size and hosts the ancient and reputable Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Topics of interest include but not limited to:
Mechatronics and Bio-Mechatronics.
Autonomous Robots.
Robot Control, Vision and Navigation.
Intelligent Control Systems
Sensor / Actuator Systems
Smart and Nano-Materials: Developments and Applications.
Micro/ Nano Systems
