Open call: INTER-FACE_International Conference on Live Interfaces 2014

We are pleased to announce the open call for INTER-FACE, the second International Conference on Live Interfaces. The first conference took place in 2012, Leeds, UK. It hosted over 80 delegates, including those travelling from 11 countries outside Great Britain. In 2014, it will happen in Portugal.
INTER-FACE is dedicated to convergences and divergences between different understandings of performance technology. It seeks to expose a variety of motivations and approaches, and discuss how specific understandings of ‘liveness’, ‘immediacy’, ‘timing’ or ‘flow’ manifest in performance with digital media. The call is open for paper presentations, performances, interactive installations, poster demonstrations and workshops.
