IEEE Opole Student Branch together with IEEE Poland Section and IEEE Poland Section MAG-033 Chapter are organizing the International Symposium on Electrodynamic and Mechatronic Systems – SELM 2013 which will be held from 15th to 18th May 2013 in Zawiercie – Hotel Villa Verde Congress & SPA ****

The Symposium is an enhancement and continuation of SCE (International Students Conference on Electrodynamics and Mechatronics) conference series which were successfully organized in Opole (Poland) in 2007, 2009 and 2011. It should be mentioned that high quality and professional preparation of the 3rd SCE (2011) has been confirmed by IEEE R8 Students Activity Committee. In 2012 Piotr Graca, SCE Organizing Committee member and chair of IEEE Opole SB, received a prestigious R8 Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award for his outstanding service in organizing the 3rd SCE.

The IEEE Conference Publication Program makes every reasonable attempt to ensure abstracts and index entries of content accepted into the program are included in databases provided by independent abstracting and indexing (A&I) services, such as Elsevier’s EI Compendex, IET’s Inspec and Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science. Each A&I partner makes its own editorial decision on what content it will index. IEEE cannot guarantee entries are included in any particular database.

The final papers chosen by international scientific committee will be recommended and send for publication in journals: Bulletin of Polish Academy of Science, IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, Solid State Phenomena and other topic related journals.

The new SELM conference series, which will be also organized biennially, is mostly dedicated to scientists but for Ph.D. students, graduate and undergraduate students a special awarded session is also planned. Written papers can be submitted to three main subjects: “Materials in Electrical Engineering”, “Electrodynamics” and “Mechatronics”.

The conference language is English and all presentations should be in English.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at SELM 2013 !
