National Symposium on Recent Trends in Electrical Engineering’ on 7th – 8th Jan 2010

G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology is the premier

institute of the state of Gujarat catering the need for technical

education since its inception in 1996. The college is running seven

under graduate courses in Information Technology, Chemical

Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical

Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and

Electrical Engineering and also PG course in Communication

Engineering.

The Electrical Engineering Department is organizing a ‘National

Symposium on Recent Trends in Electrical Engineering’ on 7th – 8th

January 2010. It is our small endeavor to organize such an event at

the national level. The main objective of the Symposium is to provide

an opportunity for academicians, consultants, industry participants,

researchers and scientists to come together and discuss various

problems & their solutions, gain and share their knowledge and

experiences in addition to identifying newer areas of research and

co-operation to meet future challenges. The technical program of the

Symposium comprises of tutorials & invited lectures on selected topics

by eminent academicians, industry personalities and panel discussion

in addition to technical paper sessions.
