The International Computer Science and Engineering Conference (ICSEC) is the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Emerging Intelligent Technology. ICSEC 2014, the eighteenth in the series that has been held annually since 1997, brings together leading engineers and scientists in computer science and engineering from around the world. The event will be held over three days, with tutorial sessions and presentations delivered by researchers from the international communities, including presentations from well-known keynote speakers. Accepted papers will be published in the ICSEC 2014 Proceedings, and ICSEC is also in the process to request for indexing in IEEE Xplore. Selected papers in Thai track will be proposed for extending the works for submitting to KKU Research Journal (TCI indexed). In addition, ICSEC is expecting the best selected papers to extend their works for the submission to the two following ISI journals:

18th ICSEC will be the next event in a series of International Conference on Computer Science and Engineering growing internationally.
The conference was emerged from the local conference originated by the collaboration of famous universities in Thailand (under computer science/computer engineering departments) for over ten years.

**Call for Special Session Proposals**
In conjunction with 18th ICSEC, we will organize some special session/workshop.
The special session proposals should be submitted to the special session/workshop
Chair, Dr. Sartra Wongthanavasu (wongsar@kku.ac.th), by **May 15, 2014**.
Several special session/workshops may be held in conjunction with 18th ICSEC with the aim to explore special topics and provide international forums for
scientists, engineers, and computer users to exchange and share their
experiences, new ideas, and research results on hot topics on Future
Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology.
Special session/Workshops for presenting papers from industrial companies
and papers on implementations of systems and services are very welcome.
In general, a special session/workshop takes one day or half-day.
The workshop proposal should include following information:
1. Title of the special session/workshop: International Workshop on …
2. Workshop Organizers(s): name, affiliation, address, phone and fax
numbers, e-mail.
3. Brief description of the special session/workshop (several hundred words)
4. Expected number of papers to be submitted
5. Call for paper of the special session/workshop (draft version – 1 page CFP MS Word
version)
6. Tentative list of program committee members (Name, affiliation,
country, email address)
7. Your special session/workshop web address (Tentative)
Financial Support for special session/Workshop Organizer: (if applicable)
We will provide special session/workshop organizers to some honorariums for their
contribution (at least 6 registed papers).

==Submission Guidelines==
Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers
of not more than six (6) pages including results, figures, and references.
All manuscripts must be prepared in the standard IEEE Conference Proceedings
format in PDF. Manuscript templates are made available on the website.
Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be accepted via EDAS
submission system (http://edas.info). Papers in Thai are also welcome
in Thai track submission, but they will not be included in IEEE Xplore
database. Student travel grants are also available for international
accepted papers. Further information, please contact the conference
secretariats.
